Marcus Davidsson is a Qualified Personal Trainer, Chef and Supplement Advisor. Born in Sweden, he was raised in a family of four in a small town called Hjo. The family was extremely active and participated in numerous outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, sailing, fishing and many other winter sports. As with most kids, Marcus tried his hand at many different sports until he found a passion for raquet sports, in which he was not only a player but also a trained instructor.
Throughout his childhood he developed an interest in cooking and went on to complete a chefing qualification. He believed it would be a job that he not only enjoyed, but also be a great investment in life. After graduating with numerous chef awards, the Swedish Army called for duty. Marcus was sent to the North of Sweden to undergo training as an Artic Combat Engineer Soldier. This army life was a great experience and he grew to love the discipline and hard training involved with being a soldier. Somehow though his parents managed to talk him out of a career in the army, which he is now grateful for as he has gone on to find his real calling.
So with his army days behind him, Marcus decided it was time to travel and get out and see the world. He headed down under with work visa and worked as a chef, whilst enjoying the surf and beach activities available in Australia. Quickly realising that there were many great opportunities and interesting experiences here, he applied for residency and decided to make this beautiful country his new home.
After many years in the bar and restaurant industry, Marcus realised there was something else out there for him. He worked different jobs until he decided to get involved in the health, fitness and supplement industry, which he had always had great interest in. In his words, 'I live the health and fitness lifestyle and have combined my knowledge of food to create a simple and effective way to live a life of optimal health. It is not weight, or how many reps or sets you can do, nor is it the amount of protein you can get in one serve; but it is about incorporating daily routines into your life that enable you to become a healthier person and improve you life.'
Currently Marcus works as a personal coach and supplement advisor on the Gold Coast. Here he educates people on how to improve their health with information on food preparation, cooking, training and supplementation. Know armed with knowledge, and not a 13.5kg assault rifle, he is dedicated to giving the extra 'edge' in service in order for his clients to make better decisions so they can improve there health.
